Ascot Group was engaged by Australian Unity to deliver a full refurbishment of two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments at St Luke’s Green, a retirement living community in Brisbane. Working within an occupied village, the project required careful planning and coordination to minimise disruption to residents and allow the village to operate normally throughout the works.
Our project managers brought practical construction experience, scoping the works and sequencing trades to suit the site. We coordinated access through shared corridors and common areas, deliveries, protection works, site inductions and waste removal as part of the delivery, ensuring surrounding apartments and communal spaces remained clean, safe and accessible throughout.
The result was a full apartment refit that was returned to market and sold at a record price for the village. It also reflects a partnership with Australian Unity that has continued to grow over the past year, built on consistent delivery and a shared care for the people who live in these spaces.
